Meet the Author
Richard J. Goodrich (Ph.D. University of St Andrews) is an author and historian who teaches at Gonzaga University. Although his primary expertise is in Late-Roman and Early Church history (see the Books link, above), he is currently writing about modern history, with a particular emphasis on the Progressive Era (late-nineteenth century through World War I). He is particularly interested in how the media (newspapers and magazines) used their power to manipulate readers.
Richard is also an avid photographer, working primarily in Black and White media. A selection of his work resides in his gallery at Fine Art America.
